Project short description:
Construction of 7 km of 2×2 lanes on the M85 motorway between Enese and Csorna. The project includes 2 grade separated junctions, 6 bridges, 1 wildlife crossing and 4 roundabouts, as well as a 380 m long noise barrier in the Kóny area.
Project brief:
The section of the M85 motorway between Enese and Csorna is 7 km long, with 2×2 lanes, a central dividing lane, and a design speed of 110 km/h.
The beginning of the road section connects to the M85 motorway bypassing Enese and the end to the M85-86 motorway bypassing Csorna, as an integral part of the road network connecting Sopron (M85) and Szombathely (M86) to the M1 motorway and carrying transit traffic.
In this section, two grade separated junctions were created at the intersection of road 8509 j. and main road 85, with the necessary structures. Four additional bridges have been built to span crossing municipal roads, dirt roads and watercourses.
Almost 1 km of the trail crossed a Natura 2000 site, so small mammal crossings were built every 100 m along this section, and the Barbacsi canal was also constructed as a wildlife crossing.
Based on the environmental impact study, a 380 m long noise barrier was built in the Kóny area.
EUROUT Ltd. main tasks:
Eurout Ltd., in cooperation with the other members of the Engineering Consortium, carried out the full range of engineering tasks related to the construction works, including engineering, project management and technical supervision covering all branches (road construction, bridge construction, hydraulic engineering, utility replacements, environmental protection).
In connection with the above, it also carried out the verification and approval of the technological instructions, sampling and qualification plans and other technological documents submitted by the Contractor, monitoring tasks to track the material and financial progress of the project and compiled regular and ad hoc reports.
Our team was involved in the transfer and technical handover of the worksite and in the assessment of additional demands and works.
