Project brief:

Complete reconstruction and extension of the Law House (Törvényház) at 1 Barkóczy street, Eger.

Complete renovation and reconstruction of the current interiors and partial modification of the existing wings (partition walls, relocation of openings).

Complete renovation and reconstruction of frontage, including the installation of thermal insulation where required and waterproofing.

Development of a building extending in the inner courtyard of Law House Street as a separate expansion joint: Partial cellar, ground floor, flat roof, basement level with reinforced concrete main wall, ground floor with reinforced concrete frame infill wall structure.

Construction of the attic: with a new steel framework/purlin, the same pitch as the old one, raising the front of the inner courtyard, new monolithic reinforced steel beam slab and gallery level.

Installation of authentic frontage doors and windows, interior doors and windows, re-fabrication of the marble staircase cladding at the entrance hall, the gilding of the leaf motifs on the stucco and restoration of the ornaments by a decorative sculpture.

Construction of a new 3-arm reinforced concrete staircase and elevator from the ground floor to the new attic level in the main wing of the building – adjacent to the courtyard of the Eger District-Court north wing.

Works on the building’s fire alarm system and complex property protection system (installation of protective ducting with associated collateral and remedial works)

Total mechanical and electrical conversion and installation of a rainwater harvesting system; Installation of a full automation system and solar panels.

Production and placement of art lamps, Restoration of historical antique or period furniture. Acquisition of historically authentic furniture and general ones.
